The Lifetime Achievement Award in Teaching honors the enduring impact of educators who have consistently exhibited excellence and innovation in their teaching careers. Canadian Computer Science Distinguished Dissertation Award

The Canadian Computer Science Distinguished Dissertation Award recognizes excellence in research and writing by a computer science doctoral student completing their degree at a Canadian institution.  One award is given annual based on nominations prepared by a nominee’s supervisor in consultation with the nominee’s department chair.  Nominations are assess by a panel of computer scientists chosen from a variety of sub-disciplines in the field for originality, potential impact, technical depth and significance, and quality of presentation.
