Canadian Computer Science Distinguished Dissertation Awards

The Canadian Computer Science Distinguished Dissertation Award recognizes excellence in research and writing by a computer science doctoral student completing their degree at a Canadian institution. One award is given annually based on nominations prepared by a nominee's supervisor in consultation with the nominee's department chair. Nominations are assessed by a panel of computer scientists chosen from a variety of sub-disciplines in the field for originality, potential impact, technical depth and significance, and quality of presentation.

Lifetime Achievement Awards

These awards recognize current or former faculty members in Canadian Computer Science Departments, Schools, Faculties who have made outstanding and sustained contributions to computing over their careers.
