The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, York University invites highly qualified candidates to apply for a Teaching Stream tenure-track position in Computer Science at the rank of Assistant Professor to commence on or soon after July 1, 2022. There are three (3) positions available. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.

Candidates should have (i) a Ph.D. in Computer Science (or related field), (ii) a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) along with a doctorate focusing on higher education pedagogy (such as Ed.D.), or (iii) both Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Computer Science (or related field) with a significant record of professional experience in computer science. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or data science.
