The Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track position in the area of human computer interaction, as it relates to m-health and tele-health applications to be used in areas such as preventative health aimed at improving public health and wellness, patient monitoring, and at-home rehabilitation and care. Duties include research, teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and service to the institution. The selected candidate will be part of a growing group of recent hires in the department working on health-related research, and will also be able to collaborate with Concordia researchers in the recently created School of Health. This is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, but exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor level may also be considered.
The main criteria for selection are scholarly and teaching excellence. The successful candidate will provide evidence of high-quality scholarly output that demonstrates potential for independent research leading to peer assessed publications, and the securing of external research funding, as well as strong potential for outstanding teaching contributions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
