Trent University invites applications in the Department of Computer Science for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor with a suggested starting date of January 1 or July 1, 2022, subject to budgetary approval.
Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline by December 31, 2021. The Department is particularly interested in individuals whose research and teaching interests include Data Science/Analytics but will consider exceptional applicants in other areas as well. A genuine commitment to and experience in undergraduate teaching is essential. Candidates are also expected to participate and teach in our Applied Modelling and Quantitative Methods Graduate Program. The new tenure track faculty member will also be expected to participate in the broader life of the department and to maintain a program of research and publication.
