Hebatalla Ouda is a Ph.D. student at the School of Computing, Queen’s University, Canada besides being a teaching assistant and research assistant at the Telecommunications Research Lab (TRL) at Queen’s. Ouda is an ambitious researcher who received her MSc from Queen’s University with research interests in IoT/ Big data for real-time monitoring applications in the healthcare domain. In addition to the research activities, Ouda believed in supporting the community with her skills and passion. She took the initial steps by working as an executive coordinator in ESAQ (Egyptian Students Association at Queen’s), and COMPSA Liasion Officier at the Graduate Computing Society at Queen’s. Ouda is enthusiastic to achieve her goals of supporting graduate women in computing as she believes the “ Sky is the limit”. From previous experience in her master’s, she found different obstacles that face graduate students and prevent them from noticeable progress in their academic path. As a result, Hebatalla needs to be the voice of the graduate women and represent them in CS-CAN society.
