It collects data on degree production, enrolment, faculty demographics, and academic pipelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Canadian Participation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the 2024 survey cycle covering July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>36 Canadian PhD-granting departments were invited to participate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11 departments responded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This represents a 31 percent response rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For comparison, the response rate among invited U.S. computer science departments was 61 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Canadian Slice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Canadian Slice report supplements the main 2024 Taulbee Survey by incorporating additional data specific to Canadian institutions.
