Il est un leader mondial dans la recherche sur la mod\u00e9lisation et la simulation stochastiques, et sur l'optimisation bas\u00e9e sur la simulation. Il est le plus grand expert mondial dans la conception et la mise en \u0153uvre de g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs de nombres al\u00e9atoires pour la simulation.<\/p><p>Il a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des biblioth\u00e8ques de logiciels et des syst\u00e8mes (avec des guides d'utilisation et une documentation compl\u00e8te) pour l'analyse th\u00e9orique et empirique des g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs de nombres al\u00e9atoires et des ensembles de points de quasi-Monte Carlo, ainsi que pour la simulation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale d'\u00e9v\u00e9nements discrets. Ses logiciels sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s sont distribu\u00e9s gratuitement en code source ouvert et sont utilis\u00e9s dans le monde entier. Ses g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs de nombres al\u00e9atoires sont d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s dans les principaux logiciels math\u00e9matiques, statistiques et de simulation tels que Matlab, R, SAS, Arena, etc. Son logiciel TestU01 est actuellement la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en mati\u00e8re de tests statistiques des g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs de nombres al\u00e9atoires. Sa biblioth\u00e8que de simulation Java SSJ est utilis\u00e9e pour l'enseignement et la recherche dans les universit\u00e9s et les centres de recherche.
