Description de l'emploi :<\/strong> Les D\u00e9partement d'informatique et de recherche op\u00e9rationnelle<\/a> invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in theoretical computer science. The activities of the successful candidate will be carried out within the department\u2019s Laboratoire d\u2019Informatique Th\u00e9orique et Quantique<\/a> (LITQ).<\/p>\n

Responsabilit\u00e9s :<\/strong> The appointed candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, be active in research, publishing, and the diffusion of knowledge, and contribute to the activities of the university.<\/p>\n

Exigences :<\/strong><\/p>\n

> Doctorat en informatique ou dans un domaine connexe ;
\n> Expertise en informatique th\u00e9orique ;
\n> Un excellent dossier de publications dans la discipline : le candidat doit avoir publi\u00e9 dans des revues de premier plan ;
\n> \u00a0Demonstrate ability to deliver high-quality university education;<\/p>\n

> Demonstrate potential to develop internal, national and international collaborations;<\/p>\n

> Have adequate proficiency of the French language or be committed to learning it once hired, through the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al\u2019s French language support program, in accordance with the Politique linguistique de l'Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al<\/a>Un programme institutionnel de soutien \u00e0 l'apprentissage est propos\u00e9 \u00e0 tous les professeurs d\u00e9sireux d'apprendre le fran\u00e7ais ou d'am\u00e9liorer leurs comp\u00e9tences en mati\u00e8re de communication.<\/p>\n

Description du poste :<\/strong> Le D\u00e9partement d'informatique et de recherche op\u00e9rationnelle<\/a> de l\u2019Universite\u0301 de Montre\u0301al sollicite des candidatures pour un poste de professeure ou de professeur a\u0300 temps plein au rang d\u2019adjoint en informatique th\u00e9orique. Les activit\u00e9s de la personne retenue se feront au sein du laboratoire d’informatique th\u00e9orique et quantique (LITQ)<\/a> du d\u00e9partement.<\/p>\n

Fonctions :<\/strong> La personne retenue sera appel\u00e9e \u00e0 enseigner aux trois cycles en informatique, \u00e0 encadrer des \u00e9tudiants aux \u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures, \u00e0 poursuivre des activit\u00e9s de recherche, de publication et de rayonnement ainsi qu'\u00e0 contribuer aux activit\u00e9s de l'institution.<\/p>\n

Exigences :<\/strong><\/p>\n

> Doctorat en informatique ou dans un domaine reli\u00e9 ;
\n> Expertise en informatique th\u00e9orique ;
\n> Excellent dossier de publication, d\u00e9montrant les capacit\u00e9s de la personne \u00e0 publier les r\u00e9sultats de sa recherche dans les meilleurs forums ;
\n> \u00a0Aptitude de\u0301montre\u0301e pour superviser et offrir un enseignement universitaire de grande qualite\u0301;
\n> Avoir une connaissance suffisante de la langue fran\u00e7aise ou \u00eatre d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 l'apprendre une fois en poste par l'entremise du programme de soutien \u00e0 l'apprentissage de la langue fran\u00e7aise offert par l'UdeM, en vertu de la Politique linguistique de l'Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al<\/a>.<\/p>\n
