The highly qualified individual employed will be responsible for teaching six courses with flexible assignment (e.g., three courses in the fall term, two courses in the spring term and one course in the summer term) for a 12-month full-time appointment. Part-time appointments with flexible start dates may also be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates should be comfortable teaching a variety of computer science courses, which may include CSC 105, 110, 115, and 375. Computer Science course descriptions can be found at:<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.csc.uvic.ca\/Program_Information\/Undergraduate_Courses\/<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications: Candidates must be experienced in teaching at the postsecondary level and must hold a PhD or Masters in Computer Science or a closely related field. A PhD is preferred.<\/p>\n<p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The salary range for this position is $70,000 &#8211; $90,000.
