The preferred start date for the appointment is January 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is a teaching-focused appointment with a primary focus on delivering exceptional undergraduate and graduate education. The normal teaching load is five courses per year (approximately 70% of the overall workload), with the remaining time devoted to research\/scholarship and service.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree completed at the start date of the appointment. The successful candidate will provide evidence of:<\/p>\n<p>Scholarly work and\/or teaching experience applying Artificial Intelligence in Software Engineering and\/or Cybersecurity;<br \/>\nStrong potential for outstanding teaching contributions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels;<br \/>\nAn ongoing commitment to academic and pedagogical excellence in support of the School\u2019s programs.<br \/>\nCandidates must also provide evidence of an ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary, student-centered environment and be prepared to contribute to service at the department, Faculty, University, and\/or community levels.
