The Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary seeks outstanding candidates for TWO tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Digital Science and Immersive Technologies with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2021 or later.
Applicants must possess a PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent) at the time of appointment. The successful candidates must demonstrate evidence of an impactful track record of publications in high-quality journals and conferences. Successful applicants must also show a strong willingness to contribute to the department’s innovative teaching and research initiatives. The successful applicants must also have demonstrated expertise in extended reality (VR/AR/XR) as well as another research area relevant to digital science – data science, online and blended learning, or computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW) and its applications in teaching and learning contexts.
