The NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) honors 9th-12th grade students for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions.
CRITERIA AND ELIGIBILITY
Any U.S. and Canadian* student in grades 9-12 who self-identifies as a woman or as genderqueer or non-binary, and resides in the U.S., Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, overseas U.S. military bases, and Canada is eligible to apply, if they also meet all of the criteria specified at www.aspirations.org/AiCHSAward.
*Applicants in Canada should refer to the directions on the Aspirations Canada webpage: www.aspirations.org/aspirations-canada.
PRIZES
All award recipients receive automatic induction into the AiC Community (a national network of nearly 16,000 technical womxn in computing and engineering who receive exclusive benefits) and various computing swag.
