CS-Can/Info-Can: Formation of a National Computer Science Association
January 8, 2016, 1:00 – 3:00PM EST
University of Waterloo
Canada needs a strong voice for Computer Science at the national level. This is one of the main recommendations that came out of the town hall meeting on January 12, 2015 held at UBC. A working group with members drawn from the NSERC CS Liaison Committee and CACS/AIC was formed to develop a plan for such an association. The working group is now ready to present its plans and receive feedback from the community in the next town hall held on January 8, 2016 at the University of Waterloo. You are invited to attend this town hall either in person or via web cast.
