Applications are invited for a full-time post-doctoral researcher to work on Role Engine Design and Implementation, which is a part of the Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) (NSERC/DRDC) Project: Effective Human Machine Cooperation with Intelligent Adaptive Autonomous Systems.

The successful candidate will join the Collaborative Systems Laboratory, Nipissing University, Canada.

Candidates must possess a PhD in relevant fields and have insight in Human-Machine Interaction, Role-Based Collaboration, Adaptive Collaboration and the E-CARGO model. Candidates will be highly motivated and organised, and responsible for: designing and implementing a role engine prototype that supports an adaptive interface.
The major responsibilities are: role specification, agent evaluation, role assignment, role transfer and role presentation.
