This call extends to all individuals with interests in data visualization, and interest across the domains of computer science, cognitive science, computation arts, and communication studies. We are particularly interested in candidates with interest and expertise in the visualizations of health-related data, machine learning algorithms, and software. Commensurate with their rank candidates will be assessed on their demonstrated potential to attract diverse students and collaborators to Concordia University, conduct internationally recognized research, secure research funds, as well as teach and drive curricular development within their respective area.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field. The ideal candidate is an internationally recognized researcher with an exceptional scholarly record, and is dedicated to conducting interdisciplinary research. Membership or eligibility for membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in the province of Quebec, is desirable. The language of instruction at Concordia is English; however, knowledge of French is an asset.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian and Permanent Residents will be given priority. All applications must include a statement indicating whether or not they are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
