The Department of Computer Science at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for three (3) full-time Limited Term appointments. These positions are subject to final budgetary approval.

The first appointment is a three-year (36 months) position starting January 1, 2020.
The second appointment is a three-year (36 months) position starting September 1, 2020.
The third appointment is a two-year (24 months) position starting September 1, 2020.

The Department of Computer Science offers undergraduate programs (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science) and a thesis-based Master’s of Science in Computer Science. The Department has also recently launched a new course-based Master’s of Applied Science in Computer Science and a post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence to complement other undergraduate degrees. The candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth, direction and success of the new programs in the department. The successful candidates should hold a PhD (or a nearly completed PhD) in Computer Science or a closely related field. The candidates must show a strong commitment to teaching. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidates will be teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level in Computer Science.
