The School of Information Technology invites applications from candidates with a background in any area of digital media, including but not limited to computer graphics, digital audio, interactive system design, accessibility in digital media, interactive art, visualization, interactive environments, and similar areas. A broad expertise in digital media systems is expected, but we are especially interested in candidates with expertise that complements the School of Information Technology’s current research strengths in animation, human-computer interaction, virtual/augmented reality, and games. Candidates should show a strong record of teaching and research in the field.

The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels, supervise undergraduate capstone projects and graduate students, and develop new and revise existing courses; (ii) build on their existing record of research with publications at top-tier international forums, develop a strong, externally-funded research program offering exceptional training opportunities, and pursue dynamic partnerships with industry and government organizations; and (iii) assist in the administration of the School’s ongoing activities.
