With a fascination for technology and a yearning for innovation, I pursued an undergraduate degree in Production and Industrial Engineering from Delhi Technological University (DTU). The course helped me gain a conceptual understanding of Quantitative Techniques, Statistics, Operations Research, and Machine Learning which assisted me in acquiring a solid foundation in Data Science. Concurrently, owing to my interest in research and development, I decided to join a Healthcare research lab where I have gained countless hours of research experience while applying diverse applications of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) towards ongoing developments in the healthcare industry. My quest for more knowledge in Computer Science and Data Science led me to the Master of Digital Innovation – Data Science Program at Dalhousie University, where I am working to expand my current projects and also collaborate with junior students to work on finding innovative solutions, which would also help in fostering a research mindset in those students – which could be key to better shape our future.
